9 Stage Purification Process
Ozonisation
Most processors first do filtration and then disinfection. Whitney Drops however, performs disinfection two times using the most modern technology internationally used – Ozonisation. This unique process conducted by Whitney Drops help reduce the load of micro-organism right in the first step. And you get the best water from the start.
This process is what makes us different and of high quality.
Sand Filteration
Water is passed through the sand filter to remove coarse particles up to 30 micron in size. This removes all suspended particles. A Sand filter consists of 4 layers through which the water is passed to remove impurities.
Carbon Filteration
The process is similar to a sand filter, but the top most layer is made up of activated Carbon. This removes excess chlorine, ozone, iodine, pesticides and importantly any color and odour which arise due to the presence of organic matter.
Anti Scalant Dosing

Micron Filteration
Micron filtration again involves double filtration using filters that can remove the matter of the size 1 micron and then 0.5 micron. This is a safeguard that ensures once again, using a different method that any micron sized organism, metal or particle that may have escaped earlier is also removed.
Reverse Osmosis
This process removes excess quantity of salts and minerals, which in turn makes the water soft as well as palatable. It is also capable of rejecting bacteria, sugars, salts and proteins.
PH Boosting

Mineral Dosing
After purification, since this water is demineralised, Whitney Drops add minerals to it. By addition of minerals, it brings back the taste and goodness of water.
The minerals added are Potassium(K), which helps in reducing hypertension and Magnesium(Mg2) which makes your bones stronger.
Final Ozonisation
To ensure no environmental contamination happens during filling, Ozonisation is performed once again.
The ozone in the sealed bottle ensures that the bottle and cap get sterilized. Ozone helps maintain the sterility of water during filling and thus helps maintain the shelf life.
